The Harbour School Earns Two Awards at UNSDG Achievement Awards Hong Kong 2025

On 4 September 2025, The Harbour School (THS) received two accolades at the UNSDG Achievement Awards Hong Kong 2025, organised by the Green Council.
The awards presented to THS were:
Individual SDG Award – Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
This was awarded to Dr. Jadis Blurton, in recognition of THS’s project co-led by high school students to launch a social enterprise focused on sustainable apparel that provides support to orphanages in the Philippines.
SDG Leaders Award
Presented to Mr. Rafi Cristobal, this award highlights THS’s advocacy to both private and public sectors in promoting K–12 sustainability education across Hong Kong.
These honours underscore The Harbour School’s dual commitment: engaging student leadership in meaningful social enterprise initiatives and driving broader systemic change through sustainability advocacy in education.

The Harbour School and SISP Director Mr. Rafi Cristobal received the "Distinction Award" and "Distinguished Sustainability Leadership Award" in the 2023 Hong Kong Sustainability Awards.

THS has been named in the Top 10 shortlists for the World’s Best School Prizes. Founded last year by T4 Education in collaboration with Accenture, American Express, Yayasan Hasanah, and the Lemann Foundation, are the world’s most prestigious education prizes.
