On 5 June 2026, Nao Shohtoku was named The Harbour School Winner and received the Jury's "Coup de Cœur" Award (Jury's Favourite) in the Pre-teen category at the Grand Prix du Consulat général de France et de l'AFLE for her reading of Le Petit Prince.

The inaugural city-wide French reading competition, organized by the Consulate General of France and the Association des Professeurs de Français de Hong Kong et Macao (AFLE), brought together nearly 50 French language learners from schools across Hong Kong.

The award recognized Nao's confidence, expression, and engagement with the French language throughout her performance.

Nao was joined by fellow Middle School students Nala Shah, Andrew Liu, and Clark Becka, who also represented The Harbour School at the competition.
