The Harbour School Middle Schooler Wins Best Speaker Award at Shanghai Debate Camp

Cecilia Che, a Grade 8 student at The Harbour School, recently stood out at the NEW+ Thinking & Debate Magic Youth Camp held in Shanghai from January 17–23, 2025. Organized by the School of Speech (表达学院), the event brought together young debaters from across China for a rigorous 6-day program.
Throughout the camp, students engaged in daily debates in the mornings and attended debate classes in the afternoons. Cecilia's outstanding performance in one of the rounds earned her the prestigious Best Speaker in a Single Round award. This recognition highlights her impressive debating skills and commitment to excellence.
