THS Development Team, September 2025

On 27–29 September 2025, The Harbour School’s MUN Team attended the first major Model United Nations (MUN) conference of the school year, hosted by the German Swiss International School (GSIS) under the theme “Striving for Peace.”

THS students achieved notable success, including Best Delegate Awards for Antonio Gunning-Garcia, Meagan Lee, and Sam Chandler, an Honorable Mention for Odhran Metcalfe, and a prestigious Head Chair role on the European Council for Jeremy Yang.

MUN conferences allow students to step into the roles of diplomats, debating and negotiating pressing global issues. The GSIS MUN conference focused on themes such as international humanitarian law, human rights, peace, gender equality, and good governance, reflecting Swiss values of peace and cooperation.

THS looks forward to the upcoming conferences at Nord Anglia International School (NAISMUN) and French International School (FISMUN), where students will continue to hone their public speaking, negotiation, and diplomatic skills.
