The Harbour School Primary Debate Team Advances to Semifinals at UNSDG Competition

On 19 February 2025, The Harbour School Primary Debate Team has once again demonstrated their debate prowess by winning their quarterfinal match against Singapore International School in the UNSDG Debate Competition.
The team, composed of Coco, Hugo, Sameer, and Nayantara, showcased their excellent argumentation and persuasive speaking skills, earning them a well-deserved victory. Hugo also received the title of Best Speaker, with the adjudicator noting his thoughtful delivery and maturity.
This win marks an exciting milestone for the team as they advance to the semifinals, where they will continue to compete for a spot in the finals at CUHK in May. Their victory follows the success of the THS Middle School Debate Team in December, and both teams are now aiming for the ultimate prize in the upcoming finals.
We are incredibly proud of our students' hard work, dedication, and performance in the competition. Congratulations to Coco, Hugo, Sameer, and Nayantara, and best of luck as they move forward in the competition!
