THS Grade 8 Student Achieves Top Speaker Rankings at 2026 Asia Junior Championships

On 5-6 September 2026, Grade 8 student Hugo Earnshaw-Saran participated in the 2026 Asia Junior Championships – Debate (Summer Edition), earning multiple top speaker honors across the competition.
Hugo was named Co-2nd Best 13-and-Under Speaker, Co-3rd Best Speaker in Hong Kong, and Co-7th Best Speaker in Northeast Asia. He also ranked Co-7th Best Speaker overall out of 126 speakers and advanced to the Octofinals in the 13-and-Under category.
In Round 4, Hugo served as an "Iron Person" for his team, delivering both the first and third speeches.
