S.E.A. Courses (Term 1)
Our Term 1 S.E.A. courses are now open for registration!
The Harbour School (THS) strives to provide all students with a wide range of educational opportunities and experiences that will serve to enrich their school lives and help their individual development, after school hours. THS aims to offer the best coaching and instruction possible, emphasizing participation, collaboration and most of all, fun! All students around Hong Kong are welcome to join an activity of their choice and explore their full potential and creative selves in a safe and fun filled environment.
Term 1 S.E.A. courses run from September 11th to November 17th.
Mondays: (8 sessions) September 11, 18, 25, October 9, 16, 30, November 6, 13
Tuesdays: (8 sessions) September 12, 19, 26, October 10, 17, 24, November 7, 14
Wednesdays: (9 sessions) September 13, 20, 27, October 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15
Thursdays: (9 sessions) September 14, 21, 28, October 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16
Fridays: (8 sessions) September 15, 22, 29, October 13, 20, 27, November 3, 17, 24
New S.A.I.L. (Specialist Activity in Language) courses are on offer!
To further enrich and support students’ language learning experience, THS is proposing to offer an all year round S.A.I.L. course for Mandarin and French learners of all levels. S.A.I.L. courses are S.E.A. courses offered by our Language team teachers and Specialist teachers from THS. An immersive approach will be adopted to incorporate the target language into different Specialists’ teaching. Each term the course will incorporate a slightly different focus with different themes.
Term 1 SAIL courses run from September 20th to November 15th:

This course is ideal for those who have already completed level 1 and level 2 and wish to continue to refine their fencing skills and knowledge. At this level, fencers have established sufficient skill to begin preparing for competition within school, and are encouraged to do so.

In this course, students will take their first steps into the world of public speaking by developing the courage to speak in front of a large audience, and by learning how to share their own opinions with clarity and confidence. Through this public speaking course, students learn to become powerful and persuasive communicators. Students develop a firm grasp of vocal projection, body language, and literary devices to communicate an idea effectively.
