Booking closes 7 days before the start of the course. Requests to register after the deadline, can be submitted via email with the course name, dates, your child’s name to compass@ths.edu.hk.

All campers will receive information such as location, materials with their confirmation email sent out at least 72 hours before the first day of camp.

• At drop off, only one adult may enter the campus during the registration on Day 1 of a camp to drop off their scholars. Parents and guardians are asked to leave right after the drop-off so scholars can fully immerse themselves in the course.  
• At dismissal, the person picking up should have their designated camper’s unique digital pick-up card available to show staff for safe camper dismissal. Parents receive this in their confirmation email and forward this at their own risk. 

Please let us know on the registration form or contact compass@ths.edu.hk with the camper’s details and camp name and dates so that we can see how we can support your scholar in our camps. In general, it is likely we will consider the same level of support service that your scholar enjoys at their current school placement. For certain outdoor excursions and activities, we may ask for a parent or guardian to accompany given age and level of independence/communication to ensure a safe and positive experience for all campers.

According to our school policy, scholars should be vaccinated in accordance with the Centre for Health Protection’s schedule. 

Yes, you may send any medical exemptions to compass@ths.edu.hk for approval by THS’s management prior to registration. Emails for exemption must include: Camper’s full name, camp name and dates with a certified medical note by a current Hong Kong licensed doctor. Exemptions that necessitate a withdrawal sent after registration are subject to the schedule identified in the section re: Cancellations, Refunds & Transfer above.

Yes, all of our SEA and FISH courses are available to the public. In the event that a specific course accepts only THS students, the listing will identify this as the exception.

No, there is no school bus service for FISH or SEA courses.

In general, there might be a 15 minute break for every 90 minutes of camp scheduled although this is typically decided by the facilitator with some exceptions. 

Campers should always bring their own snack and water bottle. For camps that have to do with cooking, campers should bring their own water bottle and opt to pack a small snack in case they don’t want to eat what they have made. If your child has any allergies or has any diet restrictions, this should be communicated by email or on the registration form specifically. Please remember that THS is a nut free school. We encourage parents to provide a well-balanced snack and lunch for their children, limiting the amount of sweets in a day’s food supply. Please consider avoiding individually wrapped plastic such as straws to decrease daily plastic waste.

Lunch is not provided unless it is advised in the description. Please plan to send in your scholar with their lunch. To ensure that snacks and lunch stay fresh, we suggest packing them in a thermal lunch box.  Facilitators cannot heat up scholar lunches individually.

Yes, scholars will be able to wait on campus and have lunch in one of our supervised lunch rooms.

No. In keeping with child safeguarding policies, the school does not allow anyone outside of registered school/camp staff and other campers to loiter on campus throughout the camp day. The only exception to this would be an written approved request from the camp facilitator for a camper who requires support from a guardian under specific conditions.
