Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers

We understand that plans can change. Because we secure staff, equipment, and boat bookings in advance, the following policies apply:

• Withdrawals by Parents:
  • 21 days or more before the course starts will result in a 90% refund which includes a 10% administrative fee or a 100% credit transfer to another available course within six months.
  • Less than 15 days before the course starts: Refunds or transfers cannot be guaranteed unless a medical certificate is provided for the student.
• Medical Exemptions/Illness: Where possible, campers with exemptions are provided an alternate activity option as the default during the camp time frame. The school will make the final determination regarding medical exemptions with the minimum requirement of a certified doctor note by a registered doctor in Hong Kong subject to THS approval for any medical or health-related course refund requests. Those documents must be received within 7 days of the day of absence. Refunds are only eligible for credits with a pro-rata scale applied based on total days of participation for use within 30 days for an alternate COMPASS activity. Exemptions are not eligible for a cash refund. 
• Course cancellations by us: In the event of course cancellations due to insufficient enrollment, you have two choices: 1) Request a refund which includes a 50$ fee or 2) Roll-over your full payment for COMPASS credit which can be used for a range of courses within 6 months beyond the date of the class that was cancelled. E.g. if you paid for a camp that was to take place on July 2 2026 and it was canceled, you may have a credit to be spent by Jan 2, 2027.
