S.E.A. Courses (Term 2)

Tuesday

Fencing is a sport that can be enjoyed by any person of any age or sporting ability. Due to the “linear” nature of the sport, children who struggle with conventional school sports such as rugby and football often excel at fencing as it places different demands on the brain and body. ​

Our tiniest talents have room to shine while exploring their creativity, confidence, and developing essential acting and language skills with a small-scale performance at the end.

Thursday

The program was founded with the goals of teaching international chess to children and most importantly building children’s character through chess. Chess requires a good understanding of rules, fair competition, learning from mistakes and challenging oneself. Through this process, children will undoubtedly acquire invaluable skills sets such as developing stronger spatial reasoning, attention span, sportsmanship and confidence.  

Friday 

Gymnastics programme has been designed specifically for children from 3 to 10 years old. In the early stages, children will learn different ways to roll, move, stretch, and discover the different shapes they can make.

Saturday

Develop swimming proficiency for students 12+ from Adv Beginner to Intermediate+ with this bilingual swim course taught in Mandarin and English. This course is on a Saturday. Students will find their way to and from the pool to particiapte and receive their certificate of proficiency from HKPCA.

Guided by an experienced marine scientist, Dr. James Ducker, the 'Intertidal Treasures' program invites students for an exciting journey into Hong Kong’s vibrant intertidal habitats. Through hands-on exploration and experimentation, students will uncover the vital ecosystem services these habitats provide. The program allows students to learn and use various scientific field techniques firsthand, offering an immersive journey that enhances their appreciation and understanding of the tidal zone’s hidden wonders.

In this playful and hands-on course, young ocean lovers will become real marine caretakers as they build their own small aquarium from start to finish. Each week, children will add new elements — sand, rocks, invertebrates, corals, and finally fish — while discovering how every organism helps keep the ocean ecosystem in balance.

At Little Kitchen Crew, we enjoy a Chinese-speaking social and cultural activity while turning the kitchen into a playground for discovery, helping children build lifelong skills and a love for nutritious food. From simple snacks to mini‑meals, every class sparks imagination and pride in every bite! Non-native speakers will have English support.

Wednesday

Dissect a squid, learn Gyotaku (Japanese fish printing), explore plankton with microscopes and animal habitats in this transformative course. Through applied scientific methods, art, and experimentation, children uncover the diversity of marine life — from microscopic organisms to colorful reef fish.

Learn from Carlos Rius, our MSC marine biologist passionate about fostering hands-on learning, scientific inquiry, creative and critical thinking — just like real scientists. Road to COP31 is a DeepDive that prepares teens for the United Nations Climate Conference in November 2026.
